Refuge Intercoms
Recent legislation has made it necessary that every public building with more than one floor has a disabled refuge system installed. These systems are generally installed on each floor close to stairwell or lift shafts. The systems allow communication between the points and the designated control panel position (normally close to the entrance to the building). This allows fire fighters to communicate with people at these refuge points during an emergency.
